NCBC organized a highly successful two-day AstroThar STEM Teacher Training Workshop on January 7–8, 2025, at Thar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tharparkar. This extensive workshop was attended by 40 secondary school science teachers and was packed with engaging lectures, hands-on activities, group sessions, and telescopic observation sessions. The certificate distribution ceremony was graced by esteemed guests from the School Education Department, Government of Sindh, NED university of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and Thar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tharparkar.

NCBC traveled to the remote regions of Tharparkar to visit 10 primary schools during January 9-13, 2025. There, we conducted engaging STEM activities and observation sessions with young, curious minds and their teachers.

NCBC hosted a memorable public outreach event at Gadi Bhit, Mithi on January 11-12, 2025. The event featured naked eye observations and telescopic views of the planets and the Moon, with many attendees experiencing such sights for the first time. We also raised awareness about light pollution and its impact on stargazing and astronomy.
